Cité L’Acrobate : common areas

The Cité l’Acrobate is a 374-unit rental project located in the Cité du Cirque in Montreal, intended for a clientele of all ages and origins. The programming, design and planning of the units and numerous common spaces are the result of a close collaboration between the architects, the client and our team. The location and unique theme of this project allowed us to play with patterns, textures and colour while keeping in mind the sustainability of the project. To do this, we decided to suggest the idea of the circus with graphic elements such as circles and stripes and to incorporate elements of architecture and landscaping into our design to ensure cohesion throughout the project. For the residential units, we purposely created a warm, neutral base to allow residents to add their own colour.
